This project was realized according to the drawings of an interior designer. The main task was to manufacture a spacious bed (sleeping area 200x200 cm) with an impressive upholstered headboard 3 meters wide. According to the designer's concept, the backrest was supposed to be a large voluminous element with vertical decorative channeling, rather than being assembled from individual narrow wall panels. Since it is technically impossible to bring a solid three-meter headboard into an apartment, we designed and manufactured it in two parts, which are securely joined during on-site assembly.

Materials and features:

• Frame and filler: The bed base is made of reliable moisture-resistant plywood. The headboard is filled with high-density polyurethane foam (PU foam), which creates the necessary volume, softness, and perfectly holds the shape of the vertical sections.

• Upholstery: A dense, wear-resistant fabric in a deep dark shade was used. The material is practical to maintain and performs well on large-scale items.

• Functionality: Given the large size of the sleeping area, the bed is equipped with a powerful lifting mechanism. Gas lifts allow you to effortlessly raise the orthopedic slatted base, providing access to a spacious storage box. For convenience, sockets with switches are integrated into the sides of the headboard, and LED backlighting is built into the top part of the backrest.
