This project was realized according to the vision of an interior designer, where each contractor strictly fulfilled their part of the work. Within the framework of a single design project, a third-party carpentry workshop built the wooden frame of the bunk structure, while our task was to manufacture fully-fledged sleep furniture. We produced and installed an upholstered bed on the first tier, as well as protective wall panels on the second tier, accurately realizing the visual concept of the project's author.

Materials and features:

• Frame and filler: The foundation of the lower bed is made of sturdy moisture-resistant plywood, designed for active children's use. The voluminous horizontal relief of the panels and sides is formed using high-resilience polyurethane foam (PU foam). It perfectly holds its shape, does not sag over time, and performs an important safety function, protecting the child from accidental impacts.

• Upholstery: A tactilely pleasant textured fabric in a neutral shade was used. For a children's room, this is the most practical choice. The material features high wear resistance and is easy to spot clean.

• Functionality: The ergonomics of the lower tier are thought out to the smallest detail - spacious pull-out drawers are built into the bed base for convenient storage of toys and belongings. The technical lighting solution deserves special attention. Since electrical outlets for the LED strip were not provided during the renovation stage, our technologists implemented an autonomous hidden lighting system. It operates on special rechargeable batteries that can be easily charged from the mains, which allowed us to preserve the designer's original idea without having to channel the walls.
