This project was realized in collaboration with an interior designer for a hallway in a private house. The task was to create not just a pouf, but a true art object-an exhibition pedestal with built-in lighting for sculptures, vases, or glass figurines. This order allowed us to fully demonstrate the serious engineering potential of our company in realizing complex, non-standard tasks.

Materials and features:

• Frame and filler: The frame of the voluminous round pouf has a complex segmented shape, visually resembling a pumpkin, and is installed on an MDF base painted in a bronze shade. High-resilience polyurethane foam (HR foam) is used to form the vertical segments and provide a comfortable seat.

• Upholstery: The pouf is upholstered in a tactilely pleasant velvet in a delicate sage shade. The material emphasizes the voluminous relief of the piece and adds coziness to the modern interior.

• Functionality: A frosted glass top is placed on the upper part of the pouf, illuminated from below. It is easily removable, providing quick access to the technical compartment. Due to changes in the position of the internal optical system under the glass, the diameter of the light beam is adjusted; it allows making the light spot narrow (perfect for highlighting small figurines) or expanding it to the full glass diameter. For everyday convenience, a touch sensor switch is neatly integrated into the soft upholstery near the glass, serving to turn the light on and off.
