The client reached out to us via social media with the task of furnishing their waiting area. The main requirement was to create not just comfortable seating, but an accent interior piece that emphasizes the brutal aesthetic and corporate identity of the men's salon. We had to develop a durable product capable of withstanding a daily flow of visitors, harmoniously integrate the brand's identity, and ensure a premium level of service for the guests.

Materials and features:

• Frame and filler: The design is built on a foundation of sturdy plywood, engineered for the intense loads of a commercial environment. High-density, high-resilience polyurethane foam (PU foam) was used for the seats and backrest. It perfectly maintains its original shape, prevents sagging, and provides clients with firm, comfortable seating.

• Upholstery: The piece is upholstered in black eco-leather. For a barbershop, this is the most practical and wear-resistant solution: the material does not absorb dirt, is easy to clean, requires no complex maintenance, and is tactilely pleasant while maintaining a strict and laconic appearance.

• Functionality: The sofa is designed as an autonomous lounge zone. To maximize client comfort, a mini-fridge is integrated into the lower section, allowing the staff to offer chilled drinks to guests. The wide armrests feature lifting mechanisms that conceal spacious storage niches, helping to maintain perfect order in the waiting area. The central visual accent is a custom backrest panel featuring a thematic pattern and LED backlighting, functioning as a striking interior lightbox.
